I as hoping to leave by 3:00, but I couldn't seem to get my shit together. I kept finding things I hadn't packed and then I ended up with so many clothes (for just 3 weeks until I return to Michigan to pick up my camper) that I decided to take all my winter clothes out of my big red bag so I could use it for this leg of my journey. After I had my clothes packed, I realized I had left my one-cup coffee maker and Beth's ashes in Sam's car. So, by the time I finally got everything in the Jeep, it was 4:30 when I pulled out of Campit's drive.
My first destination is Columbus, OH to visit my friend Mike. I should have arrived around 10:30, but I stopped to get gas in Marrysville, OH and when I pulled back onto the highway, I accidentally went west instead of east. I was so close to Columbus, but ended up driving 30 miles in the wrong direction. Guess I was getting tired! I finally got to Mike's about 11:30. I was greeted with a bear hug and a warm welcome. I laid back in the recliner and we watched the Golden Girls.
Mike Showed me up to the inviting bed in the guest room where I slept like a log!
